Samaj Kalyan Scholarshhip is provided by government to brilliant students who are financially weak and also provides scholarships to engineering students. The eligible candidate must fulfill the basic criteria for govt. scholarship:
- The family should have annual income less than Rs.100000.
- The student should have a good academic record
Government provides college fee to help technical student. About Rs. 7000 is given to boarding student and Rs.3500 is provided by government to day scholar annually.
These Scholarships are governed by Human Resource Ministry of India through Samaj Kalyan Vibhag.
You can get application form from the district office of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag or from the website of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag. Filled Application form is verified from proctor office of college and approved by Principal and then it is sent to Samaj Kalyan Vibhag for further action.
Eligibility criteria for applying for scholarship are mentioned below:
- The family income annually should be less than Rs.1,000,00
- Candidate father should not be in government job but if he works as government employee then they can collect their scholarship from respective departments
