Indian Oil Corporation Limited is number one Indian company. Under the "IndianOil Educational Scholarships Scheme" its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme provides scholarships across the country to meritorious students. Indian Oil has increased the number of scholarships from 450 to 2600 from the year 2010-11. It covers the students pursuing first year of 10+ / ITI, Engineering, MBBS and MBA are eligible for this scholarship scheme. This scholarship offers help to handicapped students, support girls and Jammu & Kashmir as well as the Northeast States students.
The scholarship are given on the number of applications received against advertisement published on 1st September 2010, number of seats allocated to specified streams and number found meeting the eligibility criteria, for the academic year 2010-11.
