To start the scholarship is the main to bring awareness about their oral care habits and also to provide support in their educational activities. Colgate major job is to create oral care awareness and to raise oral hygiene levels in the country.
This scholarship was started a year before and got a good response with over 130,000 entries and from which 150 lucky consumers were awarded for the scholarships. To earn scholarship worth Rs.10,000/, each of the consumers have to learn the 5 simple oral care tips. But this year instead of 150 scholarships 300 consumers will be awarded the scholarships.

To take part in this offer the consumers have to learn the 5 simple oral care tips which are available on the Colgate Dental Cream & select Colgate toothbrush packs and on the Colgate website. Then the consumers have to answer a simple question given on the pack and SMS ‘Colgate’ followed by the correct answer option to +91 99022 99022 .Those 300 consumers have given the right answers will get the chance to get scholarships worth Rs 10,000/- each. With scholarship also have an opportunity to get free weekly oral health SMS alerts for one month. The offer runs across India from May 1, 2010 through July 31, 2010.
To make people aware in the neglected area mobile dental vans will be plying an important routes in selected towns across the country to spread oral care awareness. ‘Dr Rabbit’s World Tour’, an animated educational video will be aired as part of the mobile dental van trail creating awareness about oral care and engaging with the children to help them imbibe the oral care message.
