The Chevening Scholarships is one of the well known world's top scholarship schemes and award scholarships to near about 1000 best from over 130 countries to study in UK every year. It was started in 1983 and India was one of the first 39 countries to send scholars.

Applying for a Chevening Scholarship you should require the following general conditions:
Condition 1- You must not be a British Citizen
Condition 2 - You must have at least one qualification at degree level or equivalent.
To fill the e-Chevening application form you will have to give the information of your qualifications and past experience and the contact details of two referees. You have to give the statement why you want to study in the UK and how you will benefit from your proposed qualification. If you are called for an interview then you must not forget to bring original reference letters from your designated referees with your original certificates for the qualifications you record.
